UMKC is an integral part of the greater Kansas City region. We are the largest, fully-accredited university and Kansas City’s only public research institution. But our reach goes far beyond the classroom or laboratory.
Our division's relationships with campus stakeholders celebrate and demonstrate the spirit of UMKC to build advocacy and support for the campus and the broader community. Through our active presence and engagement efforts, we make connections with UMKC experiential, enduring and extraordinary.
We operate a variety of outreach facilities, plan commencement and numerous signature events, engage more than 60 constituent groups. We also participate in educational programs spanning from birth through retirement and work closely with our local and state governments as part of the University of Missouri System.
We can help you discover how you can be part of it all.
